Hostess Mdme Laure's warm hospitality and insightful tales added a personal touch to the experience.The expansive chateau offered a glimpse into the past with authentic furnishings and a sense of stepping back in time. The spacious rooms, all ensuite, provided a comfortable retreat, while the surrounding woodland and lake added a tranquil backdrop to our stay.One notable aspect was the well-equipped kitchen, offering more than the basics, along with the convenience of laundry facilities. The outdoor amenities, including a hot tub and rowing boat, enhanced the leisure options available. The peaceful ambiance, away from the hustle and bustle, made it a perfect "home away from home" for a relaxing week. It's a retreat that provides a blend of comfort and culture, making it a worthwhile choice for those seeking a one-of-a-kind getaway.
